Help us to keep our heritage

We have a General Restoration Fund used to help maintain the church as a whole. In addition, we have two specific funds which each address a specific need for help, the Organ Fund and the Clock Fund.

If you wish to contribute to the General Restoration fund, please mark your donation ‘Restoration Fund’.

Godshill Organ

This historic organ, probably over 300 years old, on which it is said Handel once played, has just had woodworm damage repaired. With the restoration appeal for the church building, money is tight.

If you would like to donate towards the continuing upkeep and restoration of this lovely chamber organ, please mark your donation ‘Organ Fund’.

The Clock

After many years of just slight adjustments, this historic clock needs a major service! The cost will be in excess of £6,500.

If you would like to help us, please mark your donation ‘Clock Fund’.

How to make a donation

Please send your donations to:

Godshill PCC (your chosen fund)
The Vicarage,
Church Hill,
PO38 3HY

If you are a taxpayer please give your name and address and add:

I wish Gift Aid to apply to the enclosed donation and I confirm I will pay in this tax year an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the amount that all charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs to which I give will reclaim for this year (25p for each £1 given). I understand that other taxes such as Council Tax and VAT do not qualify.

Thank you.
