The Feast of St Francis of Assisi is on Friday 4th October and so we will be holding our Animal Blessing Service this year on Sunday, 6th October at 11:00am.
As you all know, St Francis is the Patron Saint of Animals and so we invite anyone to attend this special and often lively service for our animal friends.
Pets of all kinds, including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, budgies, chicken, goldfish are most welcome as long as they bring their owners.
I wonder if there is any chance that a red squirrel might pay a surprise visit? And, of course, we now have the White-tailed Eagles back on the island after an absence of over 200 years. Where will they be spending Sunday morning?
